Introductory remarks and overview.
 
1:05pm - 1:25pm
The Why: Tax Mapping
20 minutes - Steve Jerge, Deputy Director of Property Tax Division of TRD Brief synopsis of the reasons why we're all here, the legislation, the deadline, the status, etc.
 
1:25pm - 1:55pm
The What & How
30 minutes - Matt Rich, Project Manager, Department of Geography, NMSU The necessary steps to reach the goal mandated, the Torrance County approach and lessons learned.
 
1:55pm - 2:10pm Break
 
2:10pm - 3:40pm
The What & How, continued
90 minutes - Liz Ayarbe, Santa Fe County, and Christina Noftsker The issues, the nature of the beast, some approaches, where different counties are in the process, and what Santa Fe County is doing to meet the mandate.
 
3:40pm - 3:45pm Break
 
3:45pm -4:45pm
The What & How, continued-
60 minutes - Andy Segovia, Bernalillo County Tax Assessor's Office How one hard-working county has achieved significant progress in GIS-ifying their tax rolls and parcel data. What to do, what not to do, some steps along the way.
 
4:45pm - 5:00pm Discussion and closing. Where do we go from here?
