The NMGIC WORKSHOP/FALL MEETING will be held November 21 and 22, on the topic of GIS education. This will be an opportunity for NMGIC to fill its role as education consultants, and give input as to what the GIT program at UNM could look like. The new UNM Dean of Arts and Sciences, Reed Dasenbrock, will attend and make an overview presentation, and then would like to hear about what kind of information the program should have, and what NMGIC folks look for in graduates. There will also be discussion on the URISA National Certification status.
