Announcing the NMGIC Fall Workshop

3-D Visualization Technologies and Techniques

October 7, 2004

UNM Science and Technology Park

801 University Blvd SE

Albuquerque, NM

How effective information derived from GIS/GIT data is depends on how the information is visually presented. Visualization techniques can produce simple 2-dimensional representations or they can be high-tech 3-dimensional animations, or even tangible, touchable products such as solid terrain models. This workshop aims to introduce and demonstrate a variety of techniques, some of which have a non-GIS approach.

Presenters will share and demonstrate their techniques using several technologies.
